Ash Tyndall

Ash is a Chief Technology Officer and principal software engineer who designs, builds and scales SaaS platforms from early architecture through to large scale production systems. His expertise lies in transforming complex business problems into stable commercial outcomes, spanning executive leadership, technical strategy, security, and reliability on modern cloud platforms.

Ash has 15 years of professional software development experience and has worked across a range of successful startups and private clients, leading complex cloud platforms from early architecture through to large scale production systems.

He is currently the CTO at TidyHQ, a SaaS platform that provides an operating system for clubs and associations to manage memberships, events, ticketing, communications, and governance. In this role, he leads engineering strategy, hiring, and budget management while remaining deeply hands-on across the company's most complex technical initiatives.

Previously, he led the cloud battery management platform at Switch Batteries, and worked at Appbot, where he oversaw major AWS cloud modernisation projects, built next generation natural language analysis systems, and delivered high performance features used by customers including X.com, Microsoft, BMW, and Deutsche Bank.
